Chocolate Chestnut Dessert Hummus
- 1- 6.5 oz package of chestnuts, peeled and steamed I used the brand, Melissa's
- 2 tbsp 100% unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup water
- 1½ tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
- 1 tbsp tahini paste
- sprinkle coarse sea salt
Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Add more water 1 tbsp at a time if a smoother consistency is desired.
Refrigerate for at least an hour and serve with fresh fruit and/or graham crackers.
